Meet Our 2018 Instructors.

Danielle
Maas

Director and Founder

Director and head instructor, Danielle, comes from a wide variety of training and professional work. She is currently performing with, Nevada Ballet Theatre. Danielle was trained by the most elite programs in both the competition world (Larkin Dance Studio) and classical ballet industry (Manhattan Youth Ballet, American Ballet Theater, School of American Ballet). All while being personally mentored by some of industries greatest (Francois Perron, Susan Jaffe, Karin Averty, and Michele Larkin). Dancing since the age of 2 in Minnesota, Danielle has been known as force in the competition world from a very young age. She was not only training and performing at the highest level through her high school years in Manhattan, but also continued to collect some of industry’s highest achievements in the competition circuit including national titles. She also holds many 1st place regional placements from Youth American Grand Prix competitions with the honor of being a national competitor at YAGP. Danielle’s professional career has lead her from stages in New York City to commercials and tv shows in Los Angeles. As a member of Nevada Ballet Theatre her most favorite roles have been, Little Red Riding Hood (Sleeping Beauty) and a Cygnet (Swan Lake). She continues to work as a dancer signed with MSA agency. When Danielle is not dancing or teaching she works as a Judge and Tabulator for Starpower Talent Competition. Danielle travels the country bringing the power of Resurgence intensive to studios everywhere, inspiring dancers wherever she goes. Her background in a wide variety of training allows her to offer a challenging and rewarding intensive for both the classically and competitively trained dancer.

Ricky Palomino

When he was 14 he began training in intense Vaganova at Ballet Arizona. After he graduated he immediately moved to New York City to purse a Dance Career after leaving a full scholarship for Diving at Arizona State University. In New York he became an Alvin Ailey and Broadway Dance Center Scholarship Recipient an later was invited to be an original member of Cedar Lake Dance Company after dancing with H.T Chen Dance & Co. He has been a Dancer on the hit FOX show, So You Think You Can Dance, and Dancing With the Stars, has Written an Original show and Choreographed for the KTT in Poland, AUDC, Dance Moms, Raising Asia and More. He is currently a Professor and Admissions Choreographer for the American Musical Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in Hollywood, is launching his new Designer and High Fashion Line, Marcelino, and just released his new single, Eleven. Ricky continues to connect the Dance, Music, and Fashion worlds to his worldwide audience and is excited to share more upcoming music and projects with everyone. Madison Cubbage

From a top dancer on the competition circuit to working as a professional dancer in Los Angeles, Madison brings a bold dynamic to all her classes. Trained for 14 years at Strictly Rhythm in D.C., she collected numerous top awards and was recognized as one of the strongest competitors of her time. In 2011- ’12 she toured with The Pulse On Tour as an Elite Protege. On tour she assisted and worked closely with choreographers, Brian Friedman, Dave Scott, Brooke Lipton, and Cris Judd. Her success began to grow as she did print modeling and commercial acting work. Madison can be seen in music videos with artist such as Calvin Harris. She is now signed with Bloc Agency in Los Angeles. Madison is a young force to be rocketed with in the industry that brings a great relatable energy to all aspiring students.

Theresa Stone

Guest Instructor


Theresa Stone is a dancer/choreographer from Long Island, New York. Theresa has worked with artists including Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, Fifth Harmony, and more. She was also a featured dancer in Lady Gaga's ARTPOP Ball Tour. On top of that, her dance experience has also gotten her in the top 10 dancers of Laurieann Gibson's hit show Born To Dance, Good Morning America, The Monique Show, Wendy Williams Show, and the most recent Hunger Games movie trailor. Theresa has choreographed and worked with artists including A Great Big World, Meredith Vieira, Lance Bass, Omi, and Adam Lambert. You can also see her work on Fox's Hit Show So You Think You Can Dance, Todrick Hall's Toddlerz Ball Tour and DanceOn's Dance Showdown. She has also worked for companies including Target Stores, OA Fluid Sense, Discount Dance Supply, Vogue and more. She is the season one champion of Nigel Lythgoe's Every Single Step, and since then has worked for The Pulse On Tour, Broadway Dance Center, Wild Dance Convention, and many others! Theresa's pre professional dance company, AbstraKT BEINGS, has been featured on America's Got Talent, Brooklyn Dance Festival, and Carnival NYC. She has trained these dancers to then go on and dance for Sia, Gwen Stefani, Nicki Minaj, Silento, Ivviva Athletica, Macy's Passport, MTV, Julieanne & Derek Hough, The Chainsmokers and much more!

Amara Barner

Guest Instructor


Amara started training at a young age from her hometown in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a teenager, she began traveling to assist choreographers and train at numerous dance conventions including The Pulse On Tour and Intrigue Dance Convention. She has given workshops and performed in Australia, Mexico, London and Italy. After moving to New York City, Amara joined Isodoc Dance Group where she both created and performed works with the company. Amara joined RUBBERBANDANCE Group as an apprentice in September of 2016, and has since been travelling with them for tours in Quebec, Mexico, and Europe.
